Sometimes referred to as telangiectasia or spider naevi, this tiny red, blue or purple veins can appear anywhere on the body but are most commonly found on the face and legs. The treatment is carried out using energy heat pulses which are applied in short bursts which close down the thread veins without perforating them or damaging the surrounding tissue. Following the thread vein removal treatment, the vessels quickly clear and re-absorbed by the body, leaving little or no trace of the original lesion.

We can also treat rosacea, it is a progressive, inflammatory vascular disorder which primarily affects the central part of the face and is recognised by facial flushing/blushing, facial redness, pustules and thread veins. It rarely affects the scalp, neck, chest or other areas. In severe cases, particularly in men, the soft tissue of the nose may swell, producing bulbous enlargement known as rhinophyma. Intense pulsed light treatment has been shown to be very effective in Rosacea treatment. It works by a process called photothermolysis. This light therapy selectively destroys the abnormal vessels that cause the rosacea effect, allowing thicker-walled microvessels to be laid down.
